I had not returned to Indonesia since leaving in 1997.<\/p>\n<p>Dubai, one of the United Arab Emirates, seems able to understand the commercial possibilities of the Christmas holiday.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1029\" style=\"width: 594px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bamiyan.us\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Dubai-25-Dec-12-42.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1029\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-1029\" alt=\"Christmas decorations at Deira City Centre Mall.
