It was just down the street from where we were staying on Upper Bukit Timah Road. It was definitely worth the visit.<\/p>\n<p>On 15 February 1942 this Ford Motor facility became the location where British Lieutenant-General Arthur Ernest Percival signed the surrender documents negotiated with Japanese General Tomoyuki Yamashita. The factory was used as a headquarters during the war by the Japanese Imperial Army.
